Moleside Cottage is a delightful single storey cottage, attached to a converted Coach house and set in secure grounds. The large garden which backs on to farmland and orchards is in the outskirts of a Wealden village. Because of its abundance of orchards and hop gardens, Kent is widely known as “The Garden of England”

Moleside Cottage has recently been renovated with a large comfortable open plan lounge/dining room, a newly fitted kitchen, bathroom with W/C, basin and bath with shower facilities and separate shower. A large double bedroom and another bedroom with 2 single beds and a guest bed in the lounge.
The Mainline station is only 7 minutes walk. London is only 50 mins away, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Ashford and Canterbury are only few stops on the train, if you require retail therapy and to visit theatre land.
An ideal holiday cottage for a family who are looking for an country retreat, to explore the local countryside.

The Channel Tunnel is only 40 minutes drive, and villages, Staplehurst (2 miles) Cranbrook (6 miles), Goudhurst (4 miles) , Headcorn (6 miles) only minutes drive. The picturesque village of Goudhurst is famous for its charm and has a very good range of shops and pubs.
Marden and the other villages nearby have buildings are of historical interest and the Church dates from the 12th century. The major towns of Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Tonbridge and Tenterden are also nearby. Canterbury can be reached in under an hour.
Maidstone is the nearest town only 15 minutes drive. Maidstone is the county town of Kent, England, 32 miles (51 km) south-east of London. For shopping Maidstone has Maidstone Mall and the new Fremlins Walk. The River Medway runs through the centre of the town linking Maidstone to Rochester and the Thames Estuary. Historically, the river was a source and route for much of the town’s trade. Maidstone was the centre of the agricultural county of Kent, known as the Garden of England. There is evidence of a settlement in the area dating back to beyond the Stone Age.
Moleside Cottage is 25 minutes drive from Royal Tunbridge Wells. Tunbridge Wells offers a wealth of culture and attractions. It is of course a famous Spa Town. In Georgian times Tunbridge Wells became a well-known and popular spa resort. The pretty colonnaded walkway known as the Pantiles has become probably the most well known view of Royal Tunbridge Wells. The Pantiles remains a pleasant place to browse, shop, eat and drink and stroll.
The large living area (26 feet) has a large comfortable sofa and a sofabed, seating for 6. A flat screen TV and DVD play, Sony Playstation with an assortment of games, books and board games to keep you entertained for hours. We have also placed a large assortment of brochures showing information on places of interest, opening times and cost, this should help you plan trips round Kent.
The Dining area of the cottage has a modern glass table with leather back chairs and seating for 6 people. Near the dining area is an Air Hockey table, which our guest seem to use everyday (even more than the Playstation).

Kitchen
This is fully equipped for self catering accommodation with a Washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and gas cooker with electric oven incorporating a grill.
The newly decorated kitchen with units includes everything you would need . There is also a bread bin, toaster and kettle with ample glasses, mugs, pots, pans and recyling bin.
Bathroom
The cottage has a bath with a handy mixer shower over the taps. A two door pine cabinet is available for storage of towels and cleaning items. A toilet and hand wash basin completes the bathroom
Bedrooms
Master bedroom.
This bedroom has a pine king size bed with bedside tables on either side with table lamps. The wardrobe has ample shelving and hanging space for clothes. A dressing table with mirrors and carpet make it cosy and welcoming.
Twin bed room
This second room has 2 single beds and mattresses with each bed having its own bedside cabinet and table lamp.

The cottage sleeps either 4 people in comfort (2 single beds and 1 king size bed) or 5 ( 2 single beds, king size bed and sofa bed).
A cot/highchair – available on request at the time of booking at no extra charge. Bed linen for the cot is NOT supplied.
